Synopsis:

All 60 cases were diagnosed as cardio-cerebral vascular diseases or hypertension. 15 males, 45 females, ages 50 to 70 years old. Foot reflexology was applied along with acupressure treatment on head points. After a big treatment course of 30 days, 1 to 2 times a day, the final blood indexes were considered as criteria for assessment of the therapeutic effect.

Conclusion:

Reflexotherapy could decrease the value of Triglyceride (Tc) and increase that of High Density Lipoprotein-Cholesterol (HDLC), which could be beneficial to the treatment and rehabilitation of patients of cardio-cerebral vascular diseases.
