Synopsis:
A 68 year old comatose man with cerebral vascular thrombosis due to carbon monoxide poisoning was placed in a Hyperbaric oxygen chamber. Two days later, he regained consciousness and was discharged. One month later, he went into a coma again and survived but had symptoms of dementia. Finally, he was given 30-40 minutes/day of foot reflexology for 3 years with good results.
Conclusion:
Foot reflexology was found to be effective for reducing the effects of carbon monoxide poisoning.
