Wenyan, Z., Wenshen, K., "Observation On Therapeutic Effects Of Infantile Cerebral Paralysis Treated With Reflexotherapy Combined With Acupoint Injection." 2002 China Reflexology Symposium Report, Beijing: China Reflexology Association, page 1.

50 out-patients were divided into Treatment group and Control group randomly. The 25 cases in Treatment group had 15 males and 10 females. The oldest was 7 years old and the youngest, 1 year old. The 25 cases in the Control group had 17 males and 8 females. The oldest was 6 years old, the youngest, 6 months. The longest course of disease was 5 years, the shortest, 1 month. All cases were diagnosed as infantile cerebral paralysis. The Treatment group received reflexotherapy with one session lasting 30 minutes. The Control group received acupoint injections of Vitamin B-12.

The therapeutic effect of the Treatment group was markedly higher than that of the Control group. The time needed for recovery was much shorter in the Treatment group.
