Synopsis:
45 patients in a control group, both male and female, with infantile autumn diarrhea were given expectant treatments and drugs (western and Chinese). Fifty patients, in a treatment group, both male and female, were given the same along with 5-10 minutes of hand and foot reflexology 1-2 times a day. The treatment group were relieved quicker than the control group..
Conclusion:
Foot and hand reflexology were found to be effective for the relief of infantile autumn diarrhea.
