78 cases, both male and female, ages 15-58 with travel sickness were divided into 2 groups. The experimental group, 38 cases, were given 6 minutes of foot reflexology focusing on the kidney, ureter, urinary bladder, ear, labyrinth, stomach, celiac plexus reflex areas and also were given 10 minutes of acupressure focusing on UB10, GB21, L14, L111, ST36 points. Sessions were given 40 minutes before patients traveled in cars. The control group, 32 cases, were given oral medicine one half hour before traveling in cars. Results: the experimental group had had a better success rate. |

Foot reflexology was found to be effective for the relief of travel sickness when used in conjunction with acupressure. |
