Synopsis:
7 cases, 5 with chronic angle-closure glaucoma, and 2 with open-angle glaucoma, were given daily foot reflexology for 12 days along with local miotic drops. The intraocular pressure dropped in all but 2 cases, who were given oral medication to reduce the pressure.
Conclusion:
Foot reflexology massage was found to be effective for providing relief of glaucoma along with eye drops and oral medication.
