Synopsis:
18 cases of infants with pneumonia caused by amniotic fluid aspiration, were treated with foot reflexology two times a day for 3-7 sessions. Those who had a longer history were also given antibiotics. Results: symptoms in all 18 cases disappeared.
Conclusion:
Foot reflexology was found to be effective in the relief of the symptoms of amniotic fluid aspiration pneumonia.
