Synopsis:

2 cases with lupus erythematosus nephritis were given foot reflexology. The first patient was free of symptoms and lost 5 kg of weight after 20 days and her urine test showed only small amounts of protein. The second patient showed a reduction in her leg edema and an increase in her urinary excretion after 3 sessions. After 3 months of treatment, the protein in her urine was reduced and she was free of symptoms.

Conclusion:

Foot reflexology was found to be effective for the relief of the symptoms associated with lupus erythematosus nephritis (SLE)
