Synopsis:
7 patients with hysteromyoma, a benign tumor, were given foot reflexology for 1-3 months. Three were diagnosed during a routine health exam, 2 were diagnosed in hospital and had symptoms of prolonged menstrual periods, hypermenorrhea and dysmenorrhea. The other 2 had additional sense of lower abdominal compression and increased vaginal discharge, and one had anemia. All patients had a single tumor. Following the sessions, they continued with doing reflexology on themselves. Three months later, the tumors and symptoms disappeared.
Conclusion:
Foot reflexology was found to be effective for the relief of hysteromyoma.
