Synopsis:
68 cured cases out of 116 with cervical spondylopathy were divided into 2 groups: one under 40 years of age, and one over 55 years of age. Those who had only reduced cervical curvature recovered better than those with reduced cervical curvature and narrow invertebral space. The elderly patients and those with long term curvature or accompanying symptoms had poorer recovery rate.
Conclusion:
Foot reflexology was found to be effective for the relief of cervical curvature, and cervical spondylopathy, with exception of long term symptoms in the elderly.
