Gong, X., "Treatment of Chronic Rhinitis with Faradic Stimulation on Foot Reflex Zones." 1994 China Reflexology Symposium Report, Beijing : China Reflexology Association, page 128.

13 cases, both male and female, ages 15-78, with chronic rhinitis were given 20 minutes/day of foot reflexology with electric current stimulation to the nose and adrenals reflexes for 10-20 days. After 4-6 days, 3 cases were relieved, 7 cases were greatly relieved, 2 cases moderately relieved, and 1 case had no relief.

Electrode stimulation applied to foot reflex zones was found to be effective for relief of chronic rhinitis.
