Gong, X., "Three Cases of Anuresis Treated with Electrotherapy on Foot Reflex Areas." 1998 China Reflexology Symposium Report, Beijing : China Reflexology Association, page 93.

3 females, with anuresis (inability to urinate) were given 20 minutes of foot reflexology with electrodes placed on the adrenal gland and bladder reflexes. Two were postpartum and one was post appendectomy. After the sessions, all 3 cases were relieved of anuresis and regained normal urination.

Foot reflexology, in conjunction with electrotherapy, was found to be effective for the relief of anuresis, urination.
